Accounts Payable Officer Job Description

This role is responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions.

About the Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for scanning, verifying, and archiving invoices with high accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify and process invoices, credit notes, and other transactions.
  • Resolve accounts payable enquiries in a timely and effective manner.
  • Coordinate the effective resolution of aged purchase orders.
  • Communicate proactively with suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Support continuous improvement of accounts payable processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have 1-2 years experience working in a similar position. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, building effective relationships with internal contacts and external suppliers.
