About the Role

Stamford Hotels and Resorts is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our hotel operations, ensuring the effective management of our workforce, and driving business outcomes through HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor manpower budget, working closely with financial and operational stakeholders to optimize resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to drive business performance, including talent acquisition, development, and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and procedures, and maintain a safe and respectful work environment.
  • Provide HR advisory services to managers and employees, including employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to analyze trends and metrics, and develop data-driven HR solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Lead and participate in risk management activities to identify, assess, and control risks in the workplace.
  • Develop and maintain effective employee communication strategies, including regular staff meetings, training programs, and employee engagement initiatives.

About You

We are seeking an experienced HR professional with a strong background in hospitality HR, preferably with a tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field. You will have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in hospitality, with a proven track record of delivering HR initiatives that drive business outcomes. You will be a strategic thinker, a team player, and a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
