The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and friendly lifeguards to join our team. Our lifeguards will be responsible for day-to-day pool operations within our facility, ensuring that all areas both in and surrounding our pools are safe and enjoyable environments for patrons of all ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.

You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure that patrons safely enjoy their visit every time. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with diverse groups.

Requirements
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • A thorough understanding of occupational health and safety (OHS) principles and public safety applications within your facility
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • The ability to work independently and as a strong, valuable part of the team
  • A current first aid certificate (Level 2) and a current CPR certificate
  • A national police check
  • A current pool lifeguard certificate
  • Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
