About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as a Programmes and Activities Officer.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop, plan, manage and deliver structured and unstructured programmes and activities in a culturally diverse environment, designed to provide educational and recreational opportunities for individuals in immigration detention.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Programme Development: Develop, plan, manage and deliver structured and unstructured programmes and activities for adults or families.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including government departments, health services, and community organisations.
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Maintain a current Australian Federal Police Clearance and a Working with Children Certificate in accordance with relevant state or territory child protection legislation.
  • Health and Safety: Hold and maintain HLTAID009 Provide CPR and HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificates with at least 6 months of currency on the certificate.
  • Transportation: Unrestricted current Drivers Licence.
