At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Mine Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and delivering daily and weekly mine plans, as well as designing drill and blast operations.

To be successful in this position, you will need to have:

  • Relevant academic qualifications in Mine Engineering.
  • Practical skills in drill and blast design, pit optimization, and infrastructure design.
  • A strong understanding of mine planning cycles and activities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external contractors.
  • The ability to work independently with a proactive approach and make independent decisions.

Duties
  1. Develop and deliver high-quality mine plans that utilize resources efficiently and identify potential risks.
  2. Design and review drill and blast operations, including hole layouts and charging instructions.
  3. Conduct reconciliation of daily performance to ensure alignment to plan and define actions to recover variances.
  4. Follow short-term tasks and instructions, communicate updates, and target achievement to direct manager.
