Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This exciting opportunity exists for a Technical ICT Specialist to join our team as a Network Administrator, responsible for the administration and maintenance of school networks and ICT environments. The successful candidate will be skilled in server and network administration, with demonstrated knowledge of routing, NAT, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Server and network administration
  • Demonstrated networking knowledge, including routing, NAT, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP services
  • Experience in virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and/or Citrix
  • Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of hardware like servers, firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels
  • General computer hardware and software support
  • Active Directory and Group Policy management and administration skills
  • Service Desk and end-user device support
  • BYOD management and support
  • Technical document writing, including instructional and training materials for leadership and users
  • Strategic ICT planning with school leadership
  • Maintenance of ICT network documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary education desirable (Cert IV in IT Systems Administration or similar)
  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., vCloud, CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA)
