Kinexus is a specialist recruiter in the Defence and Federal government space. We have been recruiting technical engineering and ICT staff in Australia for over 20 years providing personnel who play a big role on some influential projects.

Given our background in defence, Kinexus are in a unique position to provide people for projects at clients all over Australia. The defence market is undergoing a transitional period which has presented opportunity and challenges alike.

We are looking to add to our experienced team in Sydney as we gear up for 2025. We are seeking an ICT talent acquisition specialist to help source candidates for the wide array of ICT projects that we support. This role will involve working with a mix of existing candidates as well as new ones from various sourcing methods.

The role will include:

  • Sourcing and connecting with ICT professionals, specifically those with AGSVA clearances
  • Developing talent pools of skilled professionals across different ICT areas
  • Identifying opportunities to connect with Security cleared, technical candidates across ICT
  • Developing a strong social presence

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

An ex defence professional could be ideal for this role but it's not essential. The right person will be enthusiastic, detail orientated and adept at dealing with people.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous recruitment experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and administrative skills
  • Ability to connect with a broad range of people
  • Process driven
  • Able to work patiently, the defence industry can move slowly
  • A team player
  • Tech savvy - you don't need to do the tech work but understanding it is important
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proactive attitude
