  • Availability of overtime, with competitive rates—1.5 times the standard hourly wage for the first two hours, escalating to double thereafter, and Sundays at double the rate.
  • Permanent, full-time position.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance activities and other tasks as assigned by site management to ensure the safe, efficient, and economical operation of the facility.
  • Adhere to business protocols and industry regulations to guarantee all tasks are performed safely, including conducting risk assessments and following the Start Safe, Stay Safe guidelines.
  • Work alongside the Electrical Supervisor to review and enhance site electrical documentation, including registers, schematics, and procedures.
  • Safely manage and maintain site automation systems, making necessary minor adjustments.
  • Participate in the design, installation, and commissioning of significant electrical projects, which may occasionally involve travel.
  • Assess equipment, identify areas for enhancement, and document findings.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician along with a valid NSW Electrical License.
  • A minimum of two years of substantial experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safe work methodologies, including Lock Out Tag Out Try Out procedures.
  • Proven ability in troubleshooting and resolving issues within automation, electrical systems, and processes.
  • Experience with PLC and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong commitment to Occupational Health and Safety standards.
