Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with no evenings or weekends.

Requirements:
- Apprentices: High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensed Automotive Service Technicians: Accredited post-secondary institution or part of an accredited apprenticeship program
- Valid Driver's License and Clean Driver's Abstract
- Ability to Learn New Technology and Repair Procedures
- Strong Work Ethic and Integrity
Responsibilities:
- Basic Vehicle Maintenance: Tire rotations, oil changes, diagnosing complex problems, and planning and executing vehicle repairs
- Isolate Systems or Components: Identify and repair or replace worn parts ahead of vehicle breakdown or damage
- Testing and Diagnostic Procedures: Drive vehicles for testing purposes or using various equipment, including hand-held and onboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers
Special Considerations:
- Must Have Own Tools: Specialized tools will be supplied by Lounsbury Chevrolet
- Unionized Position: Annual increases awarded in February of each year
Pay Rates:
- Fully Licensed Automotive Technicians: $30/hour
- Apprentices: A percentage of the top rate based on accumulated hours in the apprenticeship program
