Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team at their Bathurst facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and other duties as assigned by site management to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Adhere to industry standards and business processes to guarantee all work is completed safely, including risk assessments and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Electrical Supervisor to review and update site electrical administrative systems, including registers, drawings, and procedures.
- Operate and maintain site automation systems, making minor adjustments as required.
- Contribute to the design, installation, and commissioning of major electrical projects, which may involve travel.
- Inspect equipment, identify areas for improvement, and report findings.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician with a valid NSW Electrical License.
- Over 2 years of experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Expertise in safe work practices, including Lock Out Tag Out Try Out procedures.
- Demonstrated skills in fault finding and problem-solving in automation, electrical systems, and processes.
- Experience working with PLC and SCADA systems.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong commitment to Occupational Health and Safety standards.
