The Assessing Coordinator will manage complex workflows, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to a seamless claims process.
">This role is responsible for delivering professional and empathetic service to customers, assessors, repairers, and stakeholders.
">Key responsibilities include coordinating assessment bookings, managing workflows from lodgement through to repair, allocating assessments based on claim complexity, customer needs, and assessor availability.
">Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in the Claim Centre system is also a critical aspect of this role.
">Identifying and escalating risks, sensitive claims, or potential fraudulent activity is another key responsibility.
">Assisting assessors with administrative tasks and responding to inbound call customer queries, complaints, and requests within agreed timeframes are also essential duties.
">Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to drive efficient claim outcomes is a collaborative effort required for success in this role.
">Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong customer service mindset with empathy and care, and high attention to detail and strong analytical skills are all necessary for this position.
">A resilient and proactive approach to problem-solving is also crucial in this role.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service roles
- Knowledge of general insurance and/or claims is desired
- Strong customer service mindset with empathy and care
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
