Senior Director of People Support Services

We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as the Senior Director of People Support Services. As a key member of our People Strategy and Culture Branch, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with internal and external stakeholders and engaging closely with the ACT Health Directorate Executive team.
In this role, you will lead a dedicated team that drives people-focused support across the agency. You will spearhead the delivery of operational HR support and the development and execution of a broad array of people and workforce initiatives.
Your mission is to cultivate an environment where our workforce feels empowered to inquire, seek support, and raise concerns confidently. You will be instrumental in modelling and championing psychological safety across our business areas, ensuring our workplace aligns with the positive culture we aspire to achieve.
About the DirectorateThe ACT Health Directorate is a key part of the ACT's health system and aims to improve the health outcomes of people living in the ACT. We are a workforce of skilled, passionate professionals who together want to support those living in the Canberra community and region to live long and healthy lives.

This is a temporary position available immediately to 30 April 2025 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill permanent and temporary vacancies over the next 12 months.
