Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Senior Leadership Team as a Senior Director, Government Services. This is a key leadership role that requires strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and manage a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the Government Services Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to the community.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the performance and efficiency of the team, aligned with the Directorate's goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, portfolio ministers, and other ACT Government directorates and agencies.
- Lead and manage a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure the growth and success of team members.
- Contribute to the development of the Directorate's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the ACT Government's priorities and objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to lead and manage a high-performing team, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and development.
- Strong understanding of the ACT Government's priorities and objectives, with the ability to contribute to the development of the Directorate's strategic plan.
