The Executive Director: People, Culture, Risk and Compliance is a critical position within Community Services #1, responsible for leading the organization's people, culture, risk, and compliance functions. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will be supported by a team of four.
Key Responsibilities- Shape all 'people' related activities and systems that enable CS#1 to attract, develop, and retain talent.
- Deliver people and culture outcomes that span the breadth of workforce design, employee life cycle, and workplace culture programs.
- Develop and maintain a robust risk management and compliance framework.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in fields such as Human Resource Management and/or Business Management.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior Human Resource or management role.
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge and application of National Employment Legislation, Award Instruments, and Regulations.
- Demonstrated experience project managing solutions-focused, strategic HR outcomes, including shaping, developing, and implementing workforce design and management frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in leading investigations, mediating positive outcomes, and supporting the results with clearly written reports that comply with regulatory body requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in managing people and systems to promote skills development and monitor service performance.
- Experience in the development and implementation of WHS frameworks, policies, strategies, and procedures that support compliance and quality improvement.
It would be highly desirable if you have:
- Experience in either the Early Education and Care or Aged Care sector.
- Industry/Professional memberships/networks.
