Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Midwest region. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic professional to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families within the community setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating primary health care, collaborating with key stakeholders, and collecting data to prepare reports for specific child health projects. As a role model and consultant, they will provide knowledge, clinical expertise, and best practice to nurses and other health service providers.

About the Role:
  • Lead the coordination of primary health care for vulnerable children and families within the community setting.
  • Collaborate and advocate with key stakeholders within and outside the region to promote the health and well-being of children and families.
  • Collect data and prepare reports for specific child health projects, using this information to inform decision-making and improve outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Significant clinical knowledge, experience, and leadership in Community Health Nursing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cultural factors and social determinants, particularly relating to Aboriginal health.
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, in a multidisciplinary team.
