About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Specialist to join our team in a dynamic environment focused on safety, quality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain plant and equipment through regular preventative maintenance tasks, adhering to manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks independently, working closely with other team members as necessary to achieve production objectives.
  • Respond promptly to emergency work orders and provide troubleshooting expertise to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Fabricate metal parts and subassemblies using precision measuring instruments and ensure accuracy and proper fit.
  • Set up and operate machining tools, including cutting, grinding, and drilling, to form metal stock and castings to fine tolerances.
  • Diagnose faults and perform operational maintenance on mechanical parts and fluid power equipment.
  • Cut, thread, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.
  • Provide daily feedback and reports on work progress, identifying delays and suggesting improvements to prevent repeat issues.
  • SUPervise apprentices and contribute to a positive team environment.
