Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Switchboard Operator/Junior Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our busy switchboard system and front desk reception at our North Adelaide location.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating and managing a busy switchboard, efficiently handling, triaging, and directing incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Greeting and assisting patients and visitors, providing a high level of customer service and maintaining a professional front desk.
  • Providing accurate information both over the phone and in person, ensuring queries are directed to the appropriate departments.
  • Managing messages and communications with precision, ensuring all interactions are logged and addressed promptly.
  • Supporting administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of experience in a high-volume call handling and reception environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly and accurately triage calls and manage reception duties in a busy setting.
