About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at Latitude IT. As an IT Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the seamless performance of our IT systems, ensuring the security of our technology environment, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive IT Excellence: Oversee essential IT systems, including operating systems, security tools, applications, email systems, and hardware and software.
  • Lead Key Initiatives: Play a pivotal role in high-impact projects such as data integration, process automation, IT security enhancement, and modernizing our SaaS-based applications.
  • Be Truly Hands-On: Manage the IT environment without direct reports, leveraging your technical background and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Foster Efficiency & Innovation: Identify departmental needs and vulnerabilities while leveraging AI, RPA, and assessing new applications to enhance productivity and inform business decisions.
  • External Vendor & IT Security Management: Collaborate with and manage external IT vendors to secure optimal service levels, ensure effective employee onboarding and offboarding, and implement IT security protocols to protect sensitive data.
  • Support Business Operations: Partner with our COO on strategic projects, contribute to business continuity planning, and actively engage in creating a positive shareholder experience.

Requirements:

  • IT Leadership: Proven experience managing IT functions with minimal direct reports, a passion for technology, automation, and operational best practices.
  • Tech Savvy: Strong knowledge of EUC, IT & Cyber security, Data Integration, and the latest technology innovations.
  • Technical Experience: Expertise with Microsoft M365 suite, Citrix, Salesforce CRM, Data Governance, SaaS-based Applications, MYOB, Microsoft Power BI/Power Platform, ITIL standards, and IT/Cyber Security.
  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Ability to manage changing priorities and resources effectively while anticipating and addressing operational needs.
  • Service Delivery: Experience working across ITIL standards, when it comes to IT services delivery, across incident, problem, and change management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to create clear, compliant documentation and foster strong relationships across teams.
  • Team-Oriented & Service-Focused: Collaborative, consultative, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Innovative & Future-Focused: A hands-on approach to implementing cutting-edge solutions and optimizing IT practices in a dynamic work environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working in Financial Services domains is highly desirable.
