IT Infrastructure Operations Director

About this Role:
The successful candidate will oversee the IT operations team to ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT services. As the key liaison between IT and business units, you will translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize IT operations to meet organizational goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive IT initiatives forward.
- Mentor and motivate infrastructure staff, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Lead incident management processes to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and industry standards in IT operations.
- Use data-driven insights to monitor team performance and infrastructure reliability.
- Manage change processes to minimize risk during system updates or new implementations.
What you'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in IT operations management or as a senior IT infrastructure team lead.
- Strong hands-on experience of IT infrastructure components, networking, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies.
- Keenness to explore and advise on new and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to mentor teams and foster a high-performance culture.
- Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
