Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver strategic communication initiatives to keep stakeholders informed, motivated, and aligned with organisational goals.
  • Support media relations, create impactful content, and engage with communities to promote disaster resilience and readiness, and the vital role of SES volunteers.
  • Foster collaboration with stakeholders, volunteers, and the wider network through your expertise in communications and relationship-building.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in corporate communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of volunteer environments and the ability to work effectively with volunteers.
  • Capacity to participate in an out-of-hours on-call roster during disaster operations.
