Senior Naval Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Naval Architect to join our team in Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and assessing vessel designs, identifying opportunities and risk, and continually reviewing all aspects of the scope as it develops. They will also provide technical/experience-based feedback for consideration and design in accordance with technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess vessel designs, identifying opportunities and risk
  • Continually review all aspects of the scope as it develops, providing technical/experience-based feedback for consideration
  • Design in accordance with technical requirements (specification, contract, and relevant classifications and flag rules)
  • Provide design support through production, commissioning, and delivery

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizen
  • Hold a White Card
  • Bachelors Degree in Naval Architecture
  • Proven experience in the areas of vessel design and regulatory compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Stability and FEA software
