Electrical Systems Specialist

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for marine HVAC-R systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical, algorithm, and software design, as well as installation, troubleshooting, repair, and programming of control systems for large marine vessels.
  • As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will work with project teams to reduce ship cabling and build costs through innovative solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed drawings and wiring diagrams under supervision.
  • Program PLC and HMI systems.
  • Analyze project planning and engineering time.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing, commissioning, and servicing.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and network HVAC systems controls.
  • Support Field Engineers during start-up and commissioning.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and various PLC and Industrial controls systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and implementation.
  • Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Bilingual with excellent English oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
