Job Summary

Maintenance Officers are responsible for overseeing the maintenance of buildings and equipment. This role involves leading tradesmen, contractors, and plant equipment to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate building construction and maintenance projects
  • Conduct regular building condition inspections and record information in databases
  • Promote efficient budget management through accurate estimates and quotations
  • Foster excellent customer service through effective communication with staff and the public
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and child safety protocols
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Building and/or Construction or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated trade experience at a senior level
  • A current NSW General Construction Induction Card (White card)
  • A current Class C Driver's License
  • A willingness to obtain a First Aid Certificate
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • Proof of Right to Work in Australia
