Job Title: Facility Operations Specialist

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to contribute to our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair, and upkeep of existing buildings, property, plant, and maintenance-related equipment in collaboration with the maintenance team.
  • Ensure that all maintenance equipment and other items are properly maintained and stored.
  • Meet and address repair works, projects, and upkeep needs in a timely manner, including after-hours urgent maintenance requirements as necessary.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • A systematic and focused approach to tasks, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of staff members to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Strong work ethic and customer focus.
  • Manual driver's license is required.
  • Willingness to be on-call for after-hours emergency repairs (if required).
  • Comfortable working within a Christian environment and with an Anglican organization.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Personal Christian faith.
  • Up-to-date Hepatitis A and B immunizations.
  • Relevant trade qualifications.
  • Current Worksafe NSW licenses.
  • Proven knowledge of Industry and Safety Standards.

Additional Requirements: A current driver's license and own transportation are essential due to the remote location.
