As an Early Childhood Educator, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment. Fairfield City Council oversees one of the biggest local government areas in Australia, with over 200,000 residents speaking more than 70 languages.

The role involves working as part of a team to meet the individual programming needs of children aged 0-5 years. You will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality pedagogical programs that incorporate the Early Years Learning Framework, the Education and Care Services National Regulations, and the National Quality Standards.

Salary package and employment conditions: The position is a Grade 4, salary range between $75,390 p.a. and $83,213 p.a., plus superannuation. A uniform is provided.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Teaching or Education (Early Childhood) or be working towards it. Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma Certificate, Anaphylaxis Certificate, and Working with Children Check are also required. Must be able to meet the minimum prescribed requirements of a responsible person as per the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
