Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker to join our team at Humanity Health Group. As a key member of our allied health organisation, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to develop their workplace skills and thrive in their chosen career.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality therapy and intervention to help individuals become 'job ready'.
- Support clients with personal growth and development, promoting independence and competence in employment and training goals.
- Manage your own calendar to meet client expectations and workload, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Conduct mini-mental health training sessions on site for employment services staff, promoting a culture of wellness and support.
- Liaise with local health professionals and services as required, fostering strong relationships and collaborative partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key referrers and customers, ensuring seamless communication and support.
- Identify and engage with potential new entrants to our services, promoting access and inclusion.
- Complete risk assessments and discuss suitability of new participants and service offerings with relevant stakeholders, ensuring a safe and effective support environment.
We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial individual who is passionate about helping others. As a Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker, you will have a strong commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting their independence and self-advocacy.
- You will have an approved Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work degree and full registration with the relevant body.
- You will possess high levels of verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- You will be customer-centric, with a strong desire to drive strong client relationships and promote a culture of excellence.
- You will have a valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to your own vehicle, with the ability to travel to client sites as required.
