At Veolia, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Services Operator to join our team at the Bluescope Steel site in Port Kembla.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $85,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a close-knit team, responsible for industrial cleaning onsite. As an Industrial Services Operator, you will operate equipment for various services including high-pressure water jetting, drain cleaning, vacuum loading, and general labouring tasks.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Heavy industrial cleaning
  • High-pressure water jetting
  • Vacuum loading
  • Manual Cleaning
  • Accurate completion of paperwork
  • Driving Veolia's 'Always Safe' Culture
  • Providing outstanding customer service

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in a hands-on labouring role
  • Previous industrial cleaning experience desirable, but not essential
  • Desirable tickets include Working From Heights, Confined Space, Forklift, White Card, and HR licence
  • Integrity and a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong safety focus with a proactive approach to improving safety and risk management
  • Motivation to learn and grow within a team environment
  • Respectful and a team player
