**Industrial Process Specialist at BlueScope**

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Process Specialist to join our team at BlueScope's Port Kembla Manufacturing facility. As an integral part of our manufacturing team, you will play a leading role in the control room environment and assist in the production of our world-class products.

Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment where we continuously develop our people in their roles. You will contribute to the safety of our people, the quality of our product, and the reliability of our equipment.

The successful candidate will work a 4 on/4 off, 12 hours, day and night shift roster. We offer a competitive salary package including a 14% superannuation option and an annual profit share plan (bonus). As an Industrial Process Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the processing plant and equipment to assist in the production of high-quality products. You will utilise your technical focus to investigate and resolve plant and process faults, assist with improving work and safety standards, and develop and monitor steelmaking schedules to suit customers and plant conditions.

About You
  • You are passionate about improvement initiatives, problem-solving, and sharing ideas with your team.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, materials or science will be highly regarded, or experience in manufacturing.
  • You have a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others, along with high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a high pressure environment.
  • You have a continuous drive in improving procedures and processes, and an ability to influence peers and colleagues to meet operational requirements, scheduling, and people demands.
