About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Safety Professional to join our team in Port Kembla, working across the Heavy Industry sector.

This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday, offering a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic organization like Ventia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain effective health and safety management systems, procedures, and support others in their adoption.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships within the safety team, as well as with Ventia and client management, staff, and subcontractors.
  • Lead audits, incident investigations, and drive SHEQ Improvement strategies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

About You
  • Cert IV in Work, Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
  • ICAM Investigation Training or alternative Investigation Training certification.
  • A White Card and Driver's License for on-site operations.
  • Experience in a similar industry, preferably with knowledge of heavy industry settings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
Salary Range

$90,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
