About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Client Acquisition Specialist to join our Commercial Business Banking team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business lending opportunities for medium to large-sized businesses across Australia.

As a Commercial Business Development Manager, you will specialise in origination and deal execution, working closely with internal teams to drive business growth and harness valuable client partnerships. Your strong business development skills, combined with your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, will be essential in achieving success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new profitable clients for the bank, leveraging your networks and referral sources.
  • Prepare and manage end-to-end new business transactions, ensuring a seamless handover to relationship teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to work effectively and collaboratively.
  • Build and maintain strong referral networks to support origination activity.
Requirements
  • A proven track record of high performance, supported by flexible working arrangements.
  • Origination success with new-to-bank commercial or emerging corporate clients across diversified industries.
  • A strong established network, and business development skills to leverage that.
  • Strong project management and transaction execution skills.
  • The ability to build strong internal relationships, professional presentation, and strong influencing skills.
  • Strong credit risk analysis skills.
