Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Planning and Delivery: Coordinate NASCA programs in schools, ensuring effective program planning and execution.
  • Student Support: Foster meaningful relationships with students, community members, and schools, providing mentorship and support to First Nation students aged 12-18 years.
  • Mentorship and Workshops: Facilitate and present workshops, and provide in-class tutoring and outside-class assistance to students.
  • NASCA Life Skills and School Engagement: Provide activities such as cooking, creative arts, leadership, CV creation, goal setting, and job-ready skills to students.
  • Healthy Breakfast Program: Offer a healthy breakfast program to NASCA students as required.
  • Physical Education: Organize physical education activities, including Traditional Indigenous Games.
  • Community Activities: Facilitate opportunities for cultural exchange between community, NASCA, and school.
  • Personalised Learning Pathway Plans: Create personalized learning plans for NASCA students.
  • Teamwork and Residential Programs: Collaborate with schools teams, working occasional weekends and overnight to run residential programs and camps.
