Support Worker - Therapeutic CareAre you passionate about helping vulnerable youth and ready to embark on a career that transforms their lives?
In this position, you will provide trauma-informed care to young people with medium to high needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- BUILDING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH YOUNG PEOPLE AND PROVIDING EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
- SUPPORTING THEIR DAILY LIVING NEEDS, SUCH AS TRANSPORTATION TO SCHOOL AND APPOINTMENTS
- BEING PRESENT IN THE THERAPEUTIC CARE SETTING AND ACTING AS A KEY PART OF THE SUPPORT TEAM
We are looking for someone with:
- A Diploma in Support Work or a related field
- A passion for helping young people thrive and reach their potential
- An eagerness to learn, develop, and apply trauma-informed care practices
