About the Role

This is a Monday to Friday roster position that offers an excellent work-life balance. As a Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for proactively following up on quotes that initially didn't result in business, understanding customer concerns, and amending quotes to meet their expectations.

You will play a key role in driving business growth and enhancing customer satisfaction by:

  • Converting quotes to sales with a minimum 50% win ratio
  • Engaging with customers to understand their needs and concerns
  • Analysing and amending quotes to meet customer expectations
  • Offering discounts or alternative solutions to close sales in consultation with Director
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and feedback
  • Collaborating with the Director, sales and customer service teams to streamline processes
  • Staying updated with product knowledge and market trends to provide accurate information to customers

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the timber and hardware industry
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills

The salary for this position is around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and results-driven individual looking for a challenging role in sales, please apply.
