Job Title: Mainframe Infrastructure Expert

In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end design and implementation of mainframe infrastructure solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed designs and technical artefacts.\
  • Act as a subject matter expert in forums requiring mainframe expertise.\
  • Develop and implement comprehensive documentation standards for mainframe infrastructure.\
  • Translate business requirements into mainframe infrastructure solutions.\
  • Ensure adherence to organisational standards, policies and guidelines.\
  • Document and share artefacts as required.\
  • Support large-scale programs involving environment evolution through merging, decommissioning and development of new environments.\
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\
  • Maintain strong knowledge of mainframe technologies including IMS TM, CICS, MQ and other mainframe infrastructures.\
  • Navigate around the mainframe platform with ease.\
  • Have a good understanding of mainframe capacity planning.\
  • Demonstrate keen attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.\
  • Drive collaboration and innovation within a team environment.\
