Chief Data Governance Officer

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our data privacy and governance initiatives across the organization. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that ensure compliance with relevant privacy laws and frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading privacy and data governance teams, as well as experience in aligning data governance requirements with NIST-CSF 2.0.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive data privacy and governance roadmap
- Oversee the development and implementation of a robust data and privacy governance framework
- Manage key elements within the roles remit on data lifecycle and compliance
- Support incident response and breach management activities
- Collaborate with technology and security teams to align privacy and data requirements to new technology and initiatives
- Proven experience leading privacy and data governance teams
- Strong knowledge of Australian Privacy Legislation and global privacy frameworks
- Recognised privacy and data certifications
- Experience aligning data governance requirements with NIST-CSF 2.0
