Manager Data and AI Governance

 

Role Overview

The Manager Data and AI Governance is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of governance frameworks across the organization.

This role requires close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to ensure data and AI initiatives align with business goals and regulatory requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnerships:

  • Support Data Owners and Stewards:
    • Collaborate with data owners and stewards to deliver the enterprise data and AI governance roadmap.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to align data and AI governance initiatives with business objectives.
    • Build relationships and support functional areas to ensure data-related business requirements are well understood and prioritized.
  • Data Governance:
    • Develop and enforce policies for data quality, integrity, and security.
    • Manage the data lifecycle and remediation activities.
    • Train data stewards on governance practices and monitor progress to compliance.
  • AI Governance:
    • Maintain data and AI governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Support the development and implementation of ethical data and AI guidelines.
    • Assess risks such as bias and privacy concerns and monitor AI system performance.
  • Reporting and Monitoring:
    • Provide governance reporting related to data remediation, compliance, ownership, and quality.
    • Represent business requirements for data management platforms.
