Enterprise Data Governance Specialist

This pivotal role within our Enterprise Data team offers the opportunity to shape how we govern and leverage data to deliver better outcomes.

  • Drive Data Governance Excellence: Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and improve our data governance framework, policies, and standards.
  • Operationalise Critical Data Elements: Partner with business teams to define, document, and embed CDEs into core processes.
  • Champion Data Quality: Contribute to the rollout and ongoing management of data quality frameworks, supporting stakeholders in identifying and resolving quality issues.
  • Leverage the Right Tools: Support the use and optimisation of our metadata management platform, ensuring data is well-catalogued, discoverable, and trusted.
  • Engage & Influence: Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, technology, and risk teams to drive data governance initiatives and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will report to the Enterprise Data Lead and work closely with various stakeholders to embed best-practice data governance, drive quality initiatives, and champion data governance across the fund.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data governance strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver effective data governance solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate data-related risks to the organisation.
  • Provide thought leadership on data governance trends and best practices.
