Job Title: Chief Governance Officer

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Board as a Chief Governance Officer. This is a vital role in guiding the strategic direction, sustainability, and governance of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight in line with our Constitution and values
  • Monitor and support the implementation of our strategic plan and budget
  • Uphold strong governance, financial, and risk management practices
  • Participate in quarterly Board meetings, an annual general meeting, and relevant committee work
  • Act as an ambassador for our organisation, helping to grow our relationships and reach
Requirements:
  • Purpose-driven, with a commitment to enhancing the lives of people living with dementia
  • Experienced in one or more of the following areas: aged care, dementia support, clinical governance, fundraising, marketing, or community engagement
  • Collaborative and curious, bringing fresh ideas and thoughtful oversight
  • Comfortable in a hands-on, small-organisation setting
