Job Title: Oncology Nurse

We are seeking an experienced oncology nurse with recent experience in medical oncology to join our dynamic and dedicated nursing team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver evidence-based, comprehensive oncology nursing care.
  • Practice in accordance with applicable Health Legislation and ACQSHC National Standards.
  • Provide holistic nursing care, high-level patient assessments, and referrals for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvements and collaborate with the Quality and Clinical Governance team to ensure best practices.
  • Conduct nursing observations and administer medications in line with policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current and unrestricted registration and experience as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Recent medical oncology experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy for patients and their caregivers.
  • Strong clinical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective care planning and coordination skills.
  • Dedication to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
