Head of Production and Sourcing Opportunity

Talent Matters is seeking a seasoned Head of Production and Sourcing to lead the production team of a rapidly growing apparel retailer. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a leading fashion brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the production strategy, overseeing all aspects of the production function, including margin optimisation, lead time management, compliance, quality control, and logistics.
  • Manage production operations across China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Cambodia, ensuring the smooth operation of the global supply chain.
  • Lead a team of 5 professionals, overseeing a large volume of orders spanning apparel, footwear, and accessories categories.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong supplier relationships, expanding the current supply chain while protecting its integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Development team on sourcing, fits, costings, and approvals.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in a Head of Production role within a high-volume apparel/fashion retailer.
  • Well-established networks with overseas factories and suppliers.
  • Strong production and technical knowledge, enabling informed decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
  • Outstanding negotiation abilities, securing the best deals for the company.
