About the Role

The Head of Decentralized Governance will play a crucial role in supporting our DAO community to implement our decentralization vision and values. This involves developing and translating our vision, values, and implementation approach into the DAO design.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing project plans, including targets for milestones and resource estimates. They will also assist in executing various transactions, teach the business about the architecture of various chain implementations, and provide systems requirements for new chains to be deployed.

Responsibilities

  3. Provide systems requirements for new chains to be deployed.
  4. Motivate current community members and stakeholders to suggest and discuss their ideas, problems, and proposals constructively.
  5. Participate actively in governance discussions and product roadmap proposals.
  6. Help mentor and train new members to the DAO and Foundation.
  7. Help build and scale an on-ramp funnel for new DAO members.
  8. Work with open-source technical lead and engineers regularly in support of open-source/decentralization efforts.
  9. Help promote cooperation and partnerships with other aligned DAO communities.
  10. Analyze different decentralization models and develop recommendations.
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced professional with a passion for blockchain, decentralized governance, DeFi, app development, and web3 technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of taking initiative and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong writing skills are essential to describe complex systems and an informed opinion. The ability to attract followers on social media, participate in decentralized communities, or have a positive reputation in Web3 is also desirable.

Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and research is a plus. The ability to work independently with senior stakeholders across the firm is essential.
