Panthers Penrith is seeking a customer-focused individual to join our promotions team.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic team player with a welcoming smile to deliver outstanding customer service to our members and guests. As a key member of our promotions team, you will assist our Promotions Coordinator in a range of duties associated with Raffles, Promotions, Bingo, Cash Housie and Member Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure excellent customer service to our members and guests at all times;
  • Demonstrate effective and clear verbal communication whilst using a microphone;
  • Support and conduct Raffles and Promotions in a professional manner at all times;
  • Assist in Bingo and Cash Housie by hosting and calling;
  • Inform members and guests of upcoming events and promotions within the club;
  • Setting up and packing down of room;
  • Cash handling;
  • Handling customer enquiries;
  • Adhere to Panthers policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate and liaise at all levels with a range of customers. You will be punctual, have a strong work ethic and a positive and happy attitude to work. You are required to be flexible and reliable as you will need to be available 24/7 to work as required including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Essential Skills & Competencies:

  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills;
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously;
  • High standard of personal grooming;
  • Charismatic personality and a welcoming nature;
  • The ability and initiative to work efficiently and pro-actively independently and in a team;
  • Availability to work across a 7-day roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • RSA and RCG Certificates (essential);
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience (desirable);
  • 1-3 years of cash handling experience (desirable);
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills;
  • Experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
