Strata Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Strata Manager to join our team in Sydney's Inner West on a temporary basis.

About the Role:

This role offers a temp-to-perm pathway, making it ideal for candidates looking for both immediate employment and longer-term career opportunities in strata management. As a Strata Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential and/or mixed-use strata schemes, coordinating and attending AGMs, committee meetings, and extraordinary meetings, advising clients on relevant strata legislation and best practices, overseeing building maintenance and repairs, and maintaining strong relationships with strata committees, owners, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of residential and/or mixed-use strata schemes, ensuring effective administration and compliance with NSW strata legislation.
  • Communication and Liaison: Coordinate and attend AGMs, committee meetings, and extraordinary meetings, providing clear and concise information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Legislative Compliance: Advise clients on relevant strata legislation, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate record-keeping and legislative compliance.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee building maintenance and repairs, coordinating with contractors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, levies, and financial documentation, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2-4 years' experience in strata management, with mid-level experience preferred.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of NSW strata legislation and processes.
  • Certification: Certificate of Registration (Strata) is essential; Class 1 licence is highly regarded.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational and time management abilities, proficiency in strata management software, and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
