About the Role

This is a key opportunity for a talented Category Management Specialist to join our team at Woolworths Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curate ranges and develop competitive pricing and product architecture to align with our Category Strategy.
  • Partner with our sourcing and graphics teams to maximize own brand offers and grow customer advocacy.
  • Manage key strategic initiatives and deliver targets on sales growth, profitability, and market share.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement promotional activity effectively.
  • Deliver optimum ranges through a planned review schedule, offering choice that is store-tailored and reflective of the category roles.

About You

  • You have previous experience in Category Management or Buying in Homewares, with a strong focus on project management and strategic initiatives.
  • You possess a broad skill set in increasing sales and profit through the implementation of strategic programs.
  • You have analytical skills and a deep understanding of customer insights to inform your decisions.
  • You are able to negotiate and influence with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
