Lead Residential Care Team

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

You will have the chance to foster a safe, healthy and harmonious home environment through exceptional leadership and inspiring role modelling.

Your mission will be to guide and support a team of residential carers, develop behavioural management programs for children and adolescents with challenging behaviours and supervise and lead a team of residential care workers.

Responsibilities
  • Guiding and supporting a team of residential carers
  • Developing behavioural management programs for children and adolescents with challenging behaviours
  • Supervising and leading a team of residential care workers

The successful candidate will have:

Requirements
  • A relevant bachelor's degree with experience including four (4) additional mandatory competencies or a relevant diploma with substantial experience including four (4) additional mandatory competencies
  • Proven skills and experience in developing behavioural management programs for children and adolescents with challenging behaviours
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, lead and support a team of residential care workers

The ideal candidate will be able to participate collaboratively and constructively within teams of peers, staff and other stakeholders and have initiative and effective personal judgement when working alone.
