**Job Title:** Guest Experience Professional
**Job Description**The primary function of the Guest Experience Professional is to provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a heartfelt farewell. This role involves delivering personalized experiences that exceed guest expectations.
- Guest Interaction: The Guest Experience Professional will interact with guests in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner, responding promptly to their inquiries and resolving any issues efficiently.
- Room Management: The Guest Experience Professional will be responsible for updating and confirming billing details, capturing credit card information upon arrival, and ensuring accurate routing of accounts to third parties.
- Reservation Management: This role involves updating guest reservations with relevant OPERA codes, traces, preferences, and comments to ensure seamless check-in and stay experiences.
- Special Requests: The Guest Experience Professional will prioritize special requests such as early arrivals, VIPs, long stays, connecting/adjacent rooms, return guests, and specific room setups to ensure readiness for individual arrival times.
- Wake-Up Calls: The Guest Experience Professional will manage wake-up calls for in-house guests, ensuring timely delivery and confirmation.
- Departmental Trace Reports: This role involves efficiently processing departmental trace reports, maintaining accurate records, and providing updates as required.
- Guest Inquiries: The Guest Experience Professional will respond to guest inquiries via email, direct message, and telephone, adhering to luxury standards of verbiage and response time.
- VIP Folders: The Guest Experience Professional will set up VIP folders for next-day arrivals and ensure all arrangements meet luxury standards.
- Luggage Storage: This role involves managing luggage storage, parcel retrieval, and inventory of loaned items, ensuring timely collection or return before check-out.
- Currency Exchanges: The Guest Experience Professional will perform currency exchanges, process cash payments, and handle paid-outs in compliance with established procedures.
- Hotel Offerings: To provide accurate and up-to-date information to guests, the Guest Experience Professional must remain informed about the hotel's offerings, special events, and promotions.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry, is highly desirable.
