Environmental Program Manager

As an Environmental Program Manager, you will drive the protection of our wonderful places by applying your passion for conservation, land management, and collaborative work. Strong leadership skills are essential to juggling competing priorities and achieving outcomes in a changing environment.

The Department plays a key role in maintaining the world's most diverse natural environments for current and future generations. We manage core environmental programs, including annual fire, pest, and management planning, as well as regular protected area tenure matters.

  • Manage and operate within a legislative and policy framework to deliver core environmental programs.
  • Build sustainable relationships with stakeholders, particularly First Nation communities, and facilitate workshops comprised of various stakeholder groups.
  • Develop high-level writing, communication, systems management, and reporting skills to support program delivery and management planning.
