Renewal Specialist Job Description

The CX Renewals team is one of the fastest growing customer engagement teams, driving profitable growth and serving customers throughout their life cycle.

This role involves leading daily activities of renewal sales professionals, including ongoing mentoring and support. It also includes running forecasting activities, preparing internal reports for management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of renewal sales professionals, providing mentorship and expertise in day-to-day account activities.
  • Drive team disciplines, performance and performance insights, leading to continuous improvement.
  • Develop territories for the team and assist in quota assignment.
  • Own the development of career plans for employees.
  • Define, streamline and implement internal business processes.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding Renewal sales.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree and 10-15+ years related experience or industry experience in a related role.
  • Software Renewals or Sales background, demonstrating strong competency in responsibilities outlined above.
  • Practical experience driving business results and measuring performance using tools like Salesforce.com.
  • Understanding of Cisco's Security portfolio and value proposition or IT/Software Security Domains.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and judgments creatively, on limited and evolving data.
  • Excellent organization, self-sufficient operational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage and train staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
