Main Responsibilities:

  • Gather accurate pricing information from project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals and bid submissions that satisfy client requirements.
  • Continuously update cost estimates as projects progress.
  • Maintain a database of historical cost data to enhance the accuracy of future estimates.
  • Offer suggestions for process improvements and optimizations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in estimating or a related field, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate cost risks.
  • Proficiency in using Excel and Bluebeam software.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex information clearly.
  • Tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, civil engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license and industry-recognized white card are also required.
