Overview

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is a global quantitative trading firm seeking a skilled Quantitative Developer to join our Options Trading desk. In this role, you will collaborate with Quantitative Research and Trading to rapidly develop trading signals, tools, and strategies used directly by our trading desk.

This position requires tight coupling and collaboration between Quantitative Research and Trading, requiring a deep understanding of both domains for various aspects of quantitative analysis, trading strategy, and signal development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement client/server applications using Python or C# as primary development languages.
  • Help take projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release.
  • Partner closely with our Trading, Quantitative Researchers, Infrastructure, and Strategy Developer Teams to develop and manage scalable and highly performant systems to support trading in the region.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software development (Python, C#, or Java)
  • 3+ years in backend systems level development in Python
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Eagerness to learn about both the business and technology aspects of trading.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Expert Knowledge of financial markets and derivatives products.
